Privacy policy

What we store

• Your email (for sign-in only — never shown publicly) and your chosen username.
• The stories, hot takes, comments, votes, reports and saved stories you create.
• Anonymous counts of activity like views, shares, searches and quiz results. These aren't linked to your account.

Anonymous posting

When you post a story anonymously, it shows a random name such as “Anonymous Otter #482”. Other users can't see your username or account. We keep a private link between the story and your account so you can manage or delete it, and so moderators can act on serious rule-breaking.

Votes

Your individual votes are private. Others only see the totals.

Your choices

You can edit your profile and delete your stories and comments at any time from your profile. To delete your account entirely, contact us and we'll remove it.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, and we don't put personal information into share previews.
